Star Wars Battlefront Rogue One: Scarif – Official Trailer

Dice released a trailer for Battlefront Rogue One: Scarif. This will be the final digital expansion for Star Wars: Battlefront, and will drop next week, on december 6. for all season pass holders. Among the features of the new expansion are four new maps, which include “the planet “Scarif” that was featured in the theatrical trailer of “Rogue One.” The expansion will also introduce a pair of new heroes, Jyn Erso the good guy and Orson the bad guy, as well as a new “multi-stage game mode with space and ground combat.”” To celebrate one year since release, you can play the Outer Rim, Bespin, or Death Star expansion packs for free from now until November 20th. Star Wars: Battlefront’s latest DLC, called Death Star, was preceded by an insane amount of buzz, but when it landed, it actually fulfilled all expectations and more. In fact, its only shortcoming is that it’s way too short and that it brings less content than one would like. That is not to say there isn’t enough new content in the DLC. It’s all just so seamless and well-integrated into the movie-universe, that while playing, one actually feels like he/she is taking an active part in Star Wars canon. EA Star Wars has given us a new video that talks about what we can expect in the future from EA regarding the Star Wars franchise. In just about 3 1/2 minutes, we see some great highlights of what is to come, as well as the team behind these amazing games. You’ll hear from representatives of DICE, BioWare, Motive, Visceral Games, Capital Games, and Respawn Entertainment. There’s not really any footage into any of the games, although we do see some brief footage of the design process. We do hear story from people from these teams, what Star Wars means to them, and how they put that passion into the games they create for us, fellow fans. Fan Film: Star Wars: Amulet of Urlon

We love fan films here. This one is under 5 minutes so it’s not an extra long watch. You can sit down on a work break or in between playing or studying and give it a quick watch. We don’t want to go into too much detail about plot since it is such a short film. It’s far better to just watch it for yourself and get the full experience. That said, it’s an interesting and new story idea, the character is intriguing and the film is done well. There’s nice use of lighting and other effects and we hope to see more from them along these lines. If the music sounds familiar, you probably played Star Wars Commander and clothing and props were also very well done. All in all, it’s good stuff for a fan film. The Star Wars: Uprising community are getting an update on Sector Battle mechanics which we think look very promising. Check it out: The New Generation of Sector Battles & New Imperial Battles Next Sector Battle: Hey Everyone, Big stuff coming this next week. First: New Sector Battle Prizing and Freedom Ratings. All prizes for normal Sector Battles have been squashed together. This means all Victory levels will reward the same prizes and those prizes will be somewhere between the old Strong Victory and Overwhelming Victory prizes or, in some cases, better. So don’t sweat the Victory Points for prizing, sweat it for upping the prize brackets for next time (see below). All planets with Freedom Rating above 10 will have an even higher bracket of prizes including SILVER FACTION CURRENCY. This sector battle started yesterday Wednesday the 16th at 9 am PST like usual. Level 95 assaults are out, not many people are up at that level so I do not expect it to make a huge difference but we will see. There are no changes this week, here are the: Milestone rewards. Chinese mobile game company, MGE, said that Star Wars: Commander has become a No. 1 hit in China, generating more than 1 million downloads in just four days. This is a huge sign that Western content is popular in China and that the love for Star Wars is truly universal. The Chinese love Star Wars as much as we do. Venture Beat goes on to explain a little more about this: Licensed from Disney, CMGE (China Mobile Games and Entertainment Group) tailored this Clash of Clans-like strategy game for the Chinese market and promoted on the many app stores in that country. That’s consistent with a trend of Western developers partnering with local Chinese companies to take their work to China, which has become the biggest market in the $30 billion mobile gaming industry. Well, now they’ve done it! We knew it was coming and the newest film, Star Wars: The Force Awakens has now officially made $2 billion in the box office worldwide. This makes it only the third film in history to ever hit that number. The other two movies to make more than $2 billion in the box office were Titanic at $2.19 billion and Avatar at $2.79 billion. This is a huge milestone for the film, but not really a surprising one. On Friday, Disney announced The Force Awakens had made $900 million domestically, becoming the only film in history to hit that number. The Star Wars franchise has been and will likely remain incredibly popular for many generations. Star Wars Video Games are Rocking the Charts

Star Wars: Battlefront has sold over 12 million units and with the hit movie, The Force Awakens still killing it in the box office, it’s probably going to make the sales of Star Wars video games only go up even more. While Star Wars: Battlefront has gotten some less-than-stellar reviews, that hasn’t stopped tons of people from buying it and wanting to try it for themselves. Since its release in November, it’s sold around 12-13 million units, and with its price tag of $55 on average, that means around $660 million in revenue. According to Wedbush Securities analyst Michael Pachter, Electronic Arts EA -0.64% sold approximately 6 million Star Wars Battlefront games in November and an additional 6 million in December. Battlefront doesn’t directly tie into the movie The Force Awakens as far as timeline and content goes but the sheer popularity of the movie could definitely create more people who are interested in playing…
