RiyonnaSaysRawr·made this tutorial on how to keybind and edit your interface. Most people who have been playing the game for a while already know this, but if you are new to the game, or MMORPG’s in general, this is a good little video. As she writes on reddit: Often I see people who don’t know how to keybind, sometimes they don’t know how to add quickbars either. Usually I see them on General chat, most of the time ‘complaining’ about losing in PvP because someone is ‘jumping around like crazy and I can’t hit them’, sometimes they’re saying they have good gear so they should be winning, so something always looks a bit off and I ask them if they keybind, they say no and don’t know what it is. It’s a little tasking to explain it because they can’t always find it so I made a quick video about it,…

TOR TV: swtorHELL – a music Video
GGAvrii made this awesome 1o min fan film that reminds us of “a New Meme“. If you haven’t already watched that short movie yet, you are really missing out. It is one of the funniest SWTOR movie to date. This movie is great to though. GGavrii Basically made a random music with video elements that shouldn’t work together, but they do! And they do so really well. I especially like the ‘I want it now’ segment, and I swear the Dark Knight music gets me every time!
TOR TV: Jerk 12
If you have been following our blog for a while, you know that we are pretty big fans of TheDrunkAndThePwned· jerk series. Last year he did a series were he completed the Sith Inquisitor story line, copying all the funny one liners together. The series was titled My Sith is a Jerk and is hilarious. This yeah he have been filming the Imperial agent story line. Check out episode 3 of the of the imperial jerk series below, but be warned, It included a few spoilers:
TOR TV: My Sith is Jerk XI: My Agent is a Jerk 2
If you haven’t seeen the “My Sith is a Jerk” series yet, you are really missing out. TheDrunkAndThePwned is really going out of his way to be the most evil mofo in the Star Wars: The old republic universe. He has finished up his Sith Inquisitor story and have no started an Imperial Agent. And as Always… He is really a jerk. To get you up to speed, we will post his two first videos of the series. A warning though. These videos contains lot’s of spoilers. Check them out:
TOR TV: Fan made Jedi Consular Story Trailer
Youtube user Gabriel Deleon, made this Jedi Consular Story Trailer This is pretty well done and make me seriously want to play Consular now. The music really took me back to being a kid and playing KotOR. It evokes alot of depth. I really love some of the cutscenes in SWTOR. Now that I think of it, I wish the Jedi Knight had a slight touch of counselor added to the story. For instance you could find your own crystal as well, and not just get everything you needed… and all that jazz.
TOR TV: SWTOR / Star Trek Into Darkness Trailer!
Youtube user TraiIerRedux made this awesome, awesome, AWESOME ( No… this is good! ) mashup trailer of SWTOR and J.J. Abrams Star Trek into the Darkness. I bet you have seen so many mashups of the cinematic trailer mashups with Star Wars the old republic by now, so you are thinking – “no more, I’m going to puke!”… But trust me. This one is worth it! At least I still have a hard on after watching it, and you ask my wife, that don’t come easy no more. Stuff like this Makes me 10x more excited for a J. J. Abrams helmed Episode VII. Check it out:
TOR TV: RAID TEAM ASSEMBLE
I Have No Idea What I Just Watched… But I Liked It! Actually I do know what I watched. This is a parody of a scene from Anchor man. This is it’s one of my all time favorite movies. It was directed by Adam McKay and starring Will Ferrell. The film, which was also written by Ferrell and McKay, is a tongue-in-cheek take on the culture of the 1970s, particularly the new Action News format. It portrays a San Diego TV station where Ferrell’s title character clashes with his new female counterpart. This film is number 100 on Bravo’s 100 funniest movies, and 113 on Empire’s 500 Greatest Movies of All Time. Anyways… Let the movie speak for it self. If you don’t know were it’s from. check this out.
TOR TV: He-Man (SWTOR Edition)
Youtube user ResidentPenguin made this genius Star Wars: The old republic / He-man mash up. The reason I love this stuff might be due to me owning almost as many He-Man action figures as Star Wars toys when I was a kid. If you are to young to remember He-Man, Here is a short history lesson: He-Man and the Masters of the Universe originated as an action figure collection from Mattel. The line was selling so well, Mattel asked the Filmation company to broaden the toy advertisements into a fully-animated series. That series came to become one of the most popular and recognized cartoon series of the 80s eventually spawning more lines of figures, several more series, three animated films, a live-action film, and a sister series (pun intended) geared towards girl called She Ra: Princess of Power. The epic storyline goes a little like this: Long ago in the Kingdom…
TOR TV: Fightin Dirty – A SWTOR Parody
Jason Barnett is live with a new Star wars the old republic parody. This parody of “Ridin” by Chamillionaire addresses his thoughts on both the scoundrel roll and people’s opinions about it, ranging from overpowered, to being the utility that scoundrels have always needed. Some of the lyrics go by very fast, so he have them in the video. You can check them out below the video here also. If you haven’t seen any of his old videos, I encourage you to to check out these two we posted in the past: Baby Got Bubble “Sex Bomb” parody – Smash Bomb Lyrics They see me rollin They hatin Cajoling, they cry that I am fightin dirty Tryin to say I’m fightin dirty (x4) I roll like Fox Mcloud (do a barrel roll!) They flamin’ They mopin’ Bioware has me fightin’ dirty Tryin to say I’m fightin dirty (x4) The chorus is merely a melodic expression…
TOR TV: Tribute to the relaxed Jumpsuit!
Another SWToR-based fan video has surfaced recently that specifically highlights one the newly-released Cartel Market items – the relaxed jumpsuit. The 2 1/2 minute video was made by Youtube user ResidentPenguin and showcases some of the latest cartel market items in addition to the before-mentioned item. The whole recording ties in perfectly with the selected soundtrack and really puts the relaxed jumpsuit in a new spotlight!
SWTOR Harlem Shake
You all knew it was coming, so here it is baby. The Harlem Shake has come to SWTOR!!! A few have tried, but this first video does it perfect! The second video comes real close. They just didn’t get the beginning done right. Which is supposed to show only one person dancing while every one is minding their own. But it’s still a superb job, and the beginning is still pretty cool. I’m sure many more are on their way, so keep an eye out for them! Con lo Terrori[s]ta! Don’t forget to set it at 1080p for best audio and video quality. If you have audio enhancers, set them for total chaos! Props and respect to Logan and DkSharktooth for doing a great job!
TOR TV: Tribute To Female Sith Warrior
At our last installment of TOR TV we got an interesting comment from our reader Elvira Bornich. Elvira goes by the name TheAzerothGirl on youtube, and have uploaded quite a few interesting videos That I would recommend you to watch. Here is her Tribute To the Female Sith Warrior. Be careful. The video contains spoilers, and Techno growling with kinky lyrics. Not sure what this music style is called? Fits awesome to the Sith Warrior class though. Enjoy!
TOR TV: T.H.E. Hardest Ever
Here is a pretty interesting Video. This was mailed to us by a reader who wish to be anomynous. It’s back from when the game was new, but still a great SWTOR Machinima. The video was made by Grumbleduck and comes with the following description: Vindex – T.H.E. Hardest Ever – Machinima Vindex – Ahto City – EU PVP Server Just a quick thing I roped some guildies into doing. It’s not been made to be ‘professional’ or anything of the sort; this video was purely made out of bordem and much needed practice. A laugh and a giggle was had! 🙂 Thank you to Zebba, Blackwrath, Brick and Bunisher for putting up with me during filming! www.vindex.enjin.com Check it out below:
TOR TV: Republic Trooper Tribute – Burn it Down
This video might contain *Spoilers* Do not watch if you don’t want spoilers!!! This video is a few month old now, but it is definitely still worth a watch. The video is uploaded to youtube by SaiTorrsVideos and piece together most of the trooper cut-scenes from the storyline’s act II and act III. Mix that with Linkin park and you got a good time 🙂 I have a level 50 trooper and I personally enjoyed the story. Trooper story perfectly nails the life of a soldier and the hard choices one is forced to make. Troopers get some pretty hard ones during the 3 Chapters. At times it took me over an hour just to make a decision; that’s how much I was into the story.
TOR TV: Fan made Eternity Vault trailer.
This fan video is made by LaserLief. The video reminds me of old times when my old guild was grind though Molten Core over and over and over. I liked the build up to the end, but I think it would have been cooler to have the bass drop again there either when Soa breaks his shield, or when he gets hit by a pylon and then fade out from that. It could also be pretty cool if it had the speeches before each boss. Anyways. Check it out below:
TOR TV: Colicoid War Games – Solo
DISCLAIMER: You can potentially get banned for doing this as it falls under a game exploit. There are forum posts of people claiming to have been banned for doing stuff like this. My personal opinion is that this is very unlikely. Sure, he is getting to areas that he might not be supposed to be in, but it doesn’t really get you anything tangible, a couple thousand credits for 20 minutes maby? Regardless of this being an exploit or not, it’s still pretty awesome,
TOR TV: Baby Got Bubble
Jason Barnett is back with a new swtor parody. This time Sith Sorcerers get a little dose of Sir Mix-A-Lot. I haven’t played Sith Sorcerer my self yet, but this video was still funny. “”I aint talkin about ranked games, caus those dont happen anyway” lol Keep up the good work Jason.
TOR TV: Quintessential Conversations: “One of Us”
This video was mailed to us by the guys in the guild Pandamonium. It is a time of struggle. It is a time of rebellion. It is a time for vacation. Wait, what? A few of the galaxy’s greatest heroes are due a little R&R, but one of their number is in for a totally different Pandamonium is a guild dedicated to enjoying SWTOR and having fun. These media projects exemplify the creativity, the passion, and the camaraderie that they share. They have many traits in common with other SWTOR guilds with groups doing pvp warzones, flashpoints, and many dedicated eight-man operations teams (now 7 going on 8). But these machinima projects let them take it one step further and go beyond what the game designers envisioned. They create there own fun movie that they can enjoy crafting together and then, more importantly, share with their fellow SWTOR fans.”” The video below…
TOR TV: “Sex Bomb” parody – Smash Bomb
Jason Barnett made this comedic view of the post 1.4 “smash” spec: focus for sentinels and guardians, and rage for marauders and juggernauts. This pokes fun at the simplicity of the spec as well as the community’s overreaction to it. If you haven’t been around his youtube page before, hurry up! H really got some golden SWTOR Vidoes there for you to enjoy. We will definitely be posting more of his stuff in the cumming weeks. Enjoy the video below:
TOR TV: Exploring Hutta / Uninstanced Jiguuna Airport Hangar
Youtube user guyfromostrava found an interesting mechanic in Star Wars: The old Republic. As you can see from the video below; he is able to pivot the camera upwards when he jumps. This Seems funny as it somehow influences the position of his hitbox making him jump higher. Also when you use “sprint” you actually jump higher. If you are are interested in exploration like this, I recoment you to check out owncore. They have a growing community for Exploration in Star Wars: The old republic.
TOR TV: Civil Unrest RP Event by GFC
Empire guild The Galactic 5th Colum of The Ebon Hawk server is arranging role playing event happening on Friday the 28th. SO if your up to some rioting between xmas and new years eve, come to Dromund Kaas, Kaas City, the Spires of Victory at 9pm EST on Friday 12/28/12 . Check out the video below: A significant number of Dromund Kaas citizens are protesting Sith infighting and incompetent military commanders causing the death’s of many loyal servants of the Empire. Behind the scenes, the GFC has been inciting the protest. Naturally, there will be a massive crackdown and chaos will ensue. Just how we like it. So here’s more of the OOC stuff. Two groups will gather opposite each other. One group is the protesters, the other is law enforcement. Those RPing law enforcement should wear Imperial Trooper armor to get in the spirit of things. And the protesters should be unarmed and dressed in…
TOR TV: SWTOR 1-50 in 60 seconds
Now that’s what I call power leveling! Watch all the level ups for the imperial agent Pe’ter Pan. Here is his Youtube profile: heltidsluffare· Takes dedication to do this. Well done. Now… Can you spot which one he messed up and had to fix in post production?
TOR TV: Sometimes you get wipes at 1%. And sometimes THIS happens!!
This video was recorded on 17th December at 2:00am GMT. When the guild “Binary Sunset” battled Kephess. I guess your just lucky some times 🙂 Binary Sunset is named after the iconic scene from Star Wars IV – A New Hope, and we’re based on the Progenitor (EU), an RP-PVE server. they are a multi-national European Guild; the raid in question including players from England, Iceland, Portugal, Turkey, Germany, Belgium and Spain. This was their 13th try that evening, on a boss they hadn’t attempted before, and at 2:00am GMT. Given their timezone differences everyone was getting a little tired, but they couldn’t just call it – they are a mature Guild of working age, and likely to be spread far and wide for Christmas with families. This week was the last chance to get an attempt in on completing Terror from Beyond in 2012. As a Guild they had ups and downs, their previous GM disbanded…
TOR TV: Jedi Samurai
Nowadays, Samurai-dom is less about kicking butt with a giant Katana and more about honor and justice, in other words, bushido without a giant knife at your side. This kind of sucks really, so some dude from France created his own “samudi” code in Star Wars: The old republic. This new way of life combines the way of the jedi, with the way of the Samurai. Sounds hard to understand? Worry not; the creator of this noble way of life also made an instructional video about it. Check it out:
