BioWare has taken down the servers tor fix a bug that apparently have been pretty game breaking. I haven’t had any issues my self, but  I have heard of some people that couldn’t play for days. Of course the forums are going to make it sound like this is the worst possible thing to ever have happened on September 11th. 2.3.2b Patch Notes General Corrected an issue that could cause players to be kicked back to Character Select when attempting to log into certain characters.

Patch Notes – 2.3.2 – 9/4/2013

Here are todays patch notes. One of the most noticeable one is this: The base cooldown for the Fleet Pass ability is now 9 hours for subscribers. Legacy Fleet Pass I, II, and III now reduce the ability cooldown by 3 hours each. This means that being a sub and having all three levels would give no-cooldown on  fleet passes! It’s also nice to see some Codex updates, though from what I can tell Loremaster and Beastmaster are still unobtainable if these are the only changes. Game Update 2.3.2 Patch Notes 9/4/2013 Highlights New Vehicle! The Desler Nomad is a new rare drop from the final boss of all level 55 Hard Mode Flashpoints. New Feature! Players can now purchase Cartel Coins in-game through the “Add Coins” interface within the Cartel Market. (details under Cartel Market) Vendor Update! Emergency Medical Table and Mood: Outraged have been added to the Bounty Supply Company…

Game Update 2.3.1 Patch Notes – 8/21/2013

Patch notes for today’s servers maintenance is up. This time they got around to fixing out-of-space Pierce and Double Risha and “If players receive a whisper while in the process of replying to another whisper, the reply no longer displays the correct name while incorrectly delivering the message to the name who whispered most recently.” Something that have annoyed a lot of players for over a year now. Whoever writes the patch notes has a wonderful sense of humor. Check out these two goldies: “Treek no longer attempts to accentuate her humble by sinking into the ground.” Skadge has given up his ventriloquism hobby and will move his lips when saying the line “You got somethin’ to kill, or what?” Wonderful stuff 🙂 Check out the full patchnotes below: Highlights The first Packs of Shipment Three are now available for sale on the Cartel Market! Most items in the Contractor’s and Freelancer’s Bounty Packs…

Patch Notes – 2.3.0b

BioWare implemented a small client-side patch yesterday. You need to restart your client for these changes to take effect.  I’ve noticed recently that if you leave your client open (at the server selection screen) during these patches, you’re not always forced to restart the game. This has led to some weird behaviour – e.g. the last patch I couldn’t use warzone medpacs (in warzones) and this time I lost the ability to interact with my UI. I often leave my game running overnight (and am booted to the server selection screen after a given period of inactivity) and I think previous patches forced my game closed so I’m not sure if they’ve changed anything. Below are the patch notes: General Implemented a fix for a client crash that was occurring in the lobby of Czerka Flashpoints, as well as other locations in the game.

Clarification on Patch Notes for 2.2.2

In the patch notes for 2.2.2 it is stated that Bioware has made ”Multiple environmental art changes have been made across the galaxy”’.  Some users expressed concern and questions over this and it was brought up on the official forums by user tumpai in order to find out more about this change and how significant it would be. Amber Green, Live Services Specialist responded with a very detailed post explaining this part of the patch notes as follows: Hi there tumpai, This is actually a great question, and I’m a bit surprised it’s not come up before. The direct answer is that the note is a conglomeration of several small art fixes, and we often add a note like this to give people in the studio their props for fixing the whole darn galaxy almost every patch. These small things are not always visual, and sometimes they include things like…
