How Powerful Was Darth Malgus?

When it comes to all the Darth of the Sith, Vader is probably the most well known. But who is the most powerful? You might be hard pressed to find a common answer. Malgus is definitely one that you will find on every list, however. You might see Darth Malek on that list as well, but usually it is Malgus who tops the list. Darth Malgus was a human male Sith Lord, of the Sith Empire during the Great Galactic War. His name at birth was Veradun and he was raised by his adoptive father. He showed a sensitivity to the Force at a young age, but the dark will came out very young in him as well. He killed a Twi’lek servant on his father’s estate and later was sent to the Sith Academy. Check out this video below to learn more about Darth Malgus and just how powerful…

Old School vs. Latest Gaming Technology

If you were born in the 1970’s you must remember family time hunched over a huge console playing TV games until the birds came out. TV games made its appearance in 1972 but only wowed gamers in 1975 with the release of Atari’s Pong game. Electronic entertainment has seen a widespread mass effect. People of all ages and creeds buy into the mass market of gaming purely for the kind of entertainment it affords players with. It’s a whooping serving of Miracle Whip on a burger, steadily focused on a pure outcome, which is pure enjoyment. This breakthrough in technology kicked off a trend that very few could have anticipated, and even today, retro tech is hot news. Let’s look at how electronic entertainment has evolved over the decades. Military Invention In the 1960’s the US government wanted a device that would enhance the reflexes of military personnel and developed…

Mario Bros – An arcade style game that keeps evolving

How Mario Bros All Began Everyone has heard of the Italian plumber who was created by a Japanese artist.  This little man in red with a moustache was featured in more than 100 video games. The story of this popular plumber begins in the 1980s. The president of Nintendo at the time, Hiroshi Yamauchi commissioned an artist to create a game for Nintendo.  The artist’s name was Miyamoto.  He was not a programmer, but was able to develop a storyline before the workings of the game were designed, and had a good knowledge of technology and how the current trends would affect his creation.  The game was Donkey Kong which was a love story between a man, his girlfriend and a gorilla.  The main character was Jump Man and he could climb and jump ladders, move left or right and jump over obstacles and between platforms.  This game was unlike…

Star Wars 8 Leaks: Snoke Spoilers

Everyone is excited for Star Wars: Episode 8 and like all of these Star Wars films, things are pretty well under wraps, making it hard for anyone to know what’s happening or what might happen. Disney and Lucasfilm like to keep these really under lock and key. That said, sometimes the rumors turn out to be true and sometimes leaks make it out of production. It’s hard to say whether a reported leak is real, or just a rumor, but since we have time to kill before the film is released, we may as well speculate, right? So the first leak/rumor we have for you is regarding Snoke’s throne. There have been a lot of questions about Snoke – who he is, why he is there, etc. Might we have some answers coming soon? Now Star Wars theorist Mike Zeroh, who claims he has a source, has revealed alleged new information surrounding…

Obi-Wan Kenobi Film Is Officially Announced

The moment Star Wars fans have been waiting for has finally arrived. Fans have been itching for and asking for a film about Obi-Wan Kenobi and now it’s officially been released. We now have confirmation that an Obi-Wan Kenobi film is in the works. It’s at the planning stages and Stephen Daldry is negotiating the project. It’s very early in the planning phase to know too many details as of yet, but the rumor is Daldry will probably write and direct if he gets signed on. Hollywood Reporter says: “The Obi-Wan Kenobi stand-alone is one of several projects being developed by Lucasfilm and Disney that fall outside the trilogies telling the saga of the Skywalker family. A Han Solo movie is now in the final stages of shooting under new director Ron Howard, and Lucasfilm is also considering pics centering on Yoda and bounty hunter Boba Fett, among other characters….

Is Star Wars the Only Movie Franchise with a Successful Take on the World of Gaming?

Well, not quite – but it sure feels like it sometimes. Since the 1980s, we have had a long string of video games based on successful movies that have failed miserably in getting even close to their source material. Some of these failed attempts are legendary – think of the thousands of “ET The Extraterrestrial” cartridges buried under garbage in a New Mexico landfill. Sometimes it feels like the only truly successful movie-based games are Canadian online slots like “Jurassic Park”, “Terminator II: Judgement Day”, and their likes that you can try at the All Slots Canada. These, along with some other titles – including “Jurassic World”, recently added to the All Slots game library – are being actively sought out and played even years after release by All Slots players that enjoy not only their theme but also their features. But otherwise, the history of movie-based video games is…

The Last Jedi’s New Casino Planet Promises High Stakes Entertainment in Outer Space

Any self-respecting Star Wars fan out there will already be counting down the days on their calendar until we reach 15 December this year, the release date for the second film in the franchise’s third trilogy – Episode VIII: The Last Jedi. And if the positive reactions for both Episode VII and the spin-off film Rogue One weren’t enough to warrant a palpable buzz around the next instalment, we’re also starting to piece together more and more details and developments about what Episode VIII, and director Rian Johnson, will actually have in store for us. Johnson has a suitable pedigree, having previously directed the critically acclaimed neo-noir mystery film Brick back in 2005, as well as sci-fi action thriller Looper in 2012. This recent interview with Kylo Ren actor Adam Driver confirms that Johnson has sought to put his own unique spin on the Star Wars universe this time around,…

McDonald’s Channels the Dark Side with Imperial-Inspired Uniforms

We bet whoever designed the new McDonald’s uniforms wasn’t using Star Wars as inspiration but good luck trying to tell the Internet that, now that the video and pics have been revealed. McDonald’s tweeted a video of how their uniforms have changed over the years and honestly, the newest design is the best of the bunch. That said, the internet couldn’t help having some fun trolling the fast food restaurant train when they realized the new grey uniforms bear a striking resemblance to the same uniform worn by a certain set of bad guys in the Star Wars franchise. Why Jedi Have To Be Trained So Young

Why must Jedi initiates be taken away from their parents to be trained as Jedi at such a young age? We explain why this is and look at examples of when this did not occur and left students destined down a path of darkness. We also look at good examples when students who joined the order much later excelled in their duties as Jedi knights. Have you ever noticed how Jedi are always really young when they were trained? Many were taken from their homes and their families when they were just young children. So what is the reason for this? Some people think it’s because they want to get the Jedi before they love. This isn’t exactly the truth. While it’s true that they want to get them before they form attachments, this doesn’t mean they don’t want them to love. Love is okay – and even encouraged. But…

A History of Cancelled Star Wars Games

““Star Wars is one of the most popular settings in all of video games, so it’s no surprise that its owners are continually looking to create new bestselling games in the galaxy far, far away. But for every smash-hit like the Jedi Knight series, Battlefront, and Knights of the Old Republic, there are several games that never see the light of day. Games are cancelled for any of a number of reasons. But whether it’s the publisher canning the game late in development or an early concept that never gets fleshed out, it’s always disappointing to see games with huge potential left on the cutting room floor.” How many times have we written about a cancelled Star Wars game here? Even worse is when we tell you about a new game in the making that we’re really excited for, only to find out later, it’s been cut. We hate bringing…

Bingo For Cash’s One Sure Strategy: Play The Averages

When playing online Bingo for cash, nothing is quite so destructively seductive as math. One so-called “system” after another purports to tell players how to clean up in bingo for cash games . Time after time, just by knowing which cards to reject and which to buy makes this a reality. One game after another demonstrates that these systems seem sound in theory but almost always crumble in practice with a narrow few exceptions. In fact, there’s only one even somewhat-solid modus operandi for picking Bingo for cash cards. Even that proven edge is a very slim one, and rarely enough to really “take” the house in one of the purest games of chance. Granville & Tippett Two otherwise remarkable statisticians and analysts can lay claim to the most widely – and mistakenly – accepted theories of finding order in a Bingo for cash draw’s chaos. Stock market pundit Joseph…
