EA just posted a new video showing off Star Wars: Battlefront 2. Looks like they answered the vast majority of complaints fans had about the first Battlefront: Classes Better dog-fighting mechanics & emphasis on space battles More Vehicles Revamped Star-Card system More maps & locations Prequel content An actual single-player campaign But if I was a betting man I’d say people will still find something to complain about. Star Wars Battlefront 2 is slated for release on November 17 for PC, Xbox One, and PlayStation 4 with a $59.99 price tag. New Star Wars Comic Explores Key Planet in the Last Jedi
The new Star Wars comic Star Wars: The Last Jedi – Storms of Crait #1 is set to explore the key planet in Star Wars: the Last Jedi. This special, one-shot comic will be released right after the film on December 27th. It’s going to explore Crait, a mineral planet that looks like it will be a battleground between the Resistance and the First Order. Honestly, it looks really interesting, especially for comic fans. Sniper Marksmanship Honed Shots now grants a 3% bonus to critical hit chance and damage done by Snipe per stack, down from 5% Gunslinger Sharpshooter Honed Shots now grants a 3% bonus to critical hit chance and damage done by Charged Burst per stack, down from 5% DevNotes: Marksmanship / Gunslinger Sharpshooter was slightly overperforming, so we reduced the critical hit chance and damage of Snipe / Charged Burst by a small amount through a passive, which brought the discipline in line with its DPS target.

Anxious for Battlefront 2? Now you can see a major leak full of info about heroes, vehicles, units, and more! Speaking of Star Wars games that might see a comeback… who remembers Republic Commando? The game, released in 2005, is a classic to most Star Wars fans. It followed the story of a squad of Clone commandos that fight during the Clone Wars. You saw them go through several conflicts and it was a gritty, meaty change to many other Star Wars games of the time. Sadly, we haven’t seen anything else of Republic Commando since those early days 12 years ago. No updates. No re-releases. No remastering… until now. Some fans have made it their mission to revive the game and we’re definitely going to be following this one to see where it goes. Eric Musco just informed the official Star Wars: The old Republic Community that SWTOR Game Update 5.5 will go live on October 10 with some content shuffled into Game Update 5.6. Disney to Pull Star Wars and Marvel Movies from Netflix
If you haven’t watched all the Star Wars and Marvel movies on Netflix, or if you just want to get your fix and watch them again, you better do it quickly! Disney has announced they will be pulling their Star Wars and Marvel films from Netflix because they’re starting their own streaming service (who saw that coming?). Starting in 2019, you’ll have to subscribe to Disney’s service if you want to see these. As of right now, Rogue One is on Netflix but Episode 7 is listed but says “unavailable”. So, if you want to get to see these on Netflix, you better start watching now before they’re gone forever. JJ Abrams Returning To Director’s Chair On ‘Star Wars: Episode IX’
In yet another crazy turn of events, JJ Abrams is returning to direct Star Wars: Episode IX”“. It’s a done deal folks and now we know it’s solid, after rumors were flying this morning. Abrams will direct and also co-write the film with Chris Terrio. Rian Johnson apparently did not accept the offer to come back and replace Colin Trevorrow to direct the latest installment in the new Star Wars trilogies. That means Abrams is back up to bat. While we may never know the truth about what’s happening behind the scenes in production and with the director firings/shifts, we do know that Abrams is a great director. I recall how excited myself and countless other fans were in the beginning to know he was working on the first film. So now that he’s back at the helm, we can hope there will be good things to come. Days Past – A Star Wars Fan Film
You know how I love watching every Star Wars fan film I can find. I share some of my favorites with you here. Well, here’s one you can put on your list because I definitely have it at the top of mine. This is really a great film in and of its own right, but as a Star Wars fan, you’re going to love it. It’s very well done and for a short film (this one is under 20 minutes), it’s all the more important that you get it all right. There’s less time and more attention to detail that will be given by the viewer so it’s all the more important to get all the details straight. The acting is fantastic – seriously!
