Combat Changes in Fallen Empire
BioWare just posted a new blog post, explaining the combat changes, we can expect in the upcoming expansion – Knights of the fallen Empire. Combat Changes in Fallen Empire With the launch of Knights of Fallen Empire, we are planning quite a few general changes to combat. This includes everything from how some stats work to a new feature called Level Sync. Let’s jump in and talk about these changes. Stat Changes We have reworked some of our stats with the goal of helping in itemization as well as cleaning up some lingering imbalance between stats. These changes will reduce the amount of items that you find in game which simply don’t apply to your character. No more throwing items away because it has the wrong main stat, or hating that you have to get both Critical Hit Rating and Surge just to make the stats effective. These changes include:…

Marvel Games VS Star Wars Games
As you know, I am a big fan of Star Wars so I try to get my hands on every Star Wars game that comes out, or at least give myself the opportunity to plan them. I imagine you are also a fan since you’re here reading this. What you might not know is that I am also a Marvel fan. I’ve been a fan of comics since I was a young girl (weren’t most of us?) and I’ve also tried to play as many of the Marvel games as I could. Over the years, we’ve been given many Marvel games and Star Wars games to try out, not all of them adding up equally. Let’s face it, some of them have just flopped. We have talked about as much here on the site before, in regard to Star Wars games. But Marvel has their share of flops too. When…

Under the tutelage of Master Yuon Par, an unorthodox but experienced teacher and historian, a sinister plot is uncovered that could bring about the destruction of the Jedi Order. Game Update 4.0 New Feature: Keybinding Importing and Exporting
Star Wars: The old Republic – Knights of the fallen empire is coming with a cool new feature. With the new game update, players will be able to import and export their keybings. How cool is that? Game Update 4.0 New Feature: Keybinding Importing and Exporting | 09.21.2015, 09:13 AM One feature I pretty consistently see requested is the ability to copy your keybindings from one character to another, so I’m happy to say with the release of 4.0 you’ll be able to do just that. When 4.0 launches you’ll notice a new tab in the preference window labeled “Keybinding Import/Export” from there you’ll be able to save out your current keybindings to a file which you can then load on another character. When you save the keybinding they’ll show up in a list which you can then select to preview and load those saved bindings. The list of keybindings…

Nico Okarr | 09.17.2015, 03:32 PM Hey folks, As I mentioned in my previous post, the plan for getting Niko in Fallen Empire was that you would recruit him into your Alliance as you were playing through the storyline. If you want to get Niko as a part of playing through Fallen Empire, you can still do that. Just delete the token from your mail and you will get him naturally. On the flip side, if you claim the token we will still let you do his recruitment mission later on,…

SWTOR Conquest Changes in Fallen Empire
The removal of Nightmare Eternity Vault and Karagga’s Palace, isn’t the only news BioWare have for us today. Players can expect some conquest changes in the upcoming expansion. Conquest Changes in Fallen Empire | 09.08.2015, 04:32 PM Hey folks, In Fallen Empire we will be making changes to Conquests so I wanted to let you know about what is being adjusted. One thing that we noticed in looking at Conquests is that not as many players as we would hope are completing their personal targets. We feel this may be because the targets are too high, requiring more time to complete than many players may have available. Because of this we are adjusting the target points for rewards in some Conquests: All Conquests which previously required 35,000 target points have had that target number reduced to 20,000. Titans of Industry will remain at 25,000 target points. Total Galactic War will remain…
SWTOR: EV and KP Nightmare Removal in Fallen Empire
BioWare is removing Nightmare Eternity Vault and Karagga’s Palace with the launch of Knights of the Fallen Empire: EV and KP Nightmare Removal in Fallen Empire | 09.08.2015, 04:24 PM Hey folks, Around launch when we implemented the Nightmare versions of Eternity Vault and Karagga’s Palace, they were not quite the same as the Nightmare modes you are used to now. Basically, those old Nightmare ops were simply the same Operations with more health, that did more damage. With the changes we are making in Fallen Empire, all Operations will now be at max level, this means the differences between Hard and Nightmare EV and KP, just don’t stack up against the difficulty differences found in other Operations. Because of this, we are going to be removing Nightmare Mode Eternity Vault and Karagga’s Palace from the game with the launch of Fallen Empire. This will raise a couple of questions…
Game Update 4.0 Class Changes: Jedi Knight + Sith Warrior
BioWare posted a new developer blog for SWTOR highlighting the changes for Jedi Knight and Sith Warrior coming in game update 2.4:Knights of the Fallen Empire. Game Update 4.0 Class Changes: Jedi Knight + Sith Warrior 09.04.2015 Hi everyone! Thanks for reading our first installment of Class Change blogs that we will be releasing leading up to the release of Knights of the Fallen Empire. This week, we are going to talk about the quintessential Star Wars™ champions: Jedi Knights and Sith Warriors. In Game Update 4.0, we wanted to increase the mobility of these formidable combatants in order to allow them to realize their full potential on the battle field, and to make them more difficult to kite. The new Knight/Warrior ability – Blade Blitz/Mad Dash – emphasizes this design intention, and Knight/Warrior players will find that they have an easier time staying on target while in combat. Below…
