Do you ever wish that you could bring back your favorite game? Do you ever want to find a way to express your needs for a remaster or reboot of an old classic? Video game companies are listeing today. The developers understand the importance of keeping the gamers happy. Without the fans, they have nothing. So this is why this little petition over at ipetitions.com might actually gain some ground. What could we possibly do as a community to make BioWare, Disney, EA, pretty much anybody acknowledge how much we want a KotOR 3 or KotOR remaster. Its been 12 years since the game we love so much was released, not to mention 10 since KotOR 2. Battlefront 3 is coming, but still, no mention of our beloved KotOR. Don’t they see how many people want this? Plus the amount of money they would make…hype it up with good promotions…

SWTOR Developer Blog – The Epic Story XP Boost
Community Manager for Star Wars: The old Republic Eric Musco, posted a developer blog about the new The Epic Story XP Boost. This XP boost is a subscriber only bonus, that will let you run through level 1-50 doing only your class quests. Check it out: Hello everyone, let’s talk about the Epic Story XP Boost and how it’s an improvement over our 12x boost that we gave prior to Shadow of Revan. Our Epic Story XP Boost allows all subscribers to level from 1-50 by playing only their Class Missions and from 50-55 on Makeb by playing only the Rise of the Hutt Cartel main storyline. This Boost does not affect Shadow of Revan as it was already designed to be a more streamlined leveling experience. If you have never played the original 8 Class stories, there has never been a better time to dive in! With the Epic…
The amazing ‘Star Wars Galaxies’ Jedi mode that never was
Raph Koster, creative director for the 2003 MMO Star Wars Galaxies game began his discussion on the problems that the design team were up against was this: “Well, my opinion is Jedi are evil.” Many fans decided to give up on the game back then because a third major patch added a Jedi as a character. The problem is that Jedi’s are too powerful and rare to be successfully added in. Before the game ever launched, the design team went over many ways to make a Jedi playable in the game and Koster said that there was one solution, “the crazy idea I still wish we had done.” Inspired by Diablo’s Hardcore mode, the system was “that affectively gave a different way to play the game. A method that kept Jedi rare, powerful, and yet allowed everyone a shot,” Koster stated. However, this solution was not a solution after all….
Alexander Freed confirmed as writer for Comming ‘Star Wars: Battlefront’ Tie-in Book
We all know by now that Star Wars: Battlefront will not have space battles, more than five planets, a single-player campaign, or even setting from the prequel trilogy, but it does have something that no other games in the series has: a tie-in novel. After Disney took over Lucasfilm and the Star Wars franchise, they decided to remove the “Expanded Universe.” This includes every novel, comic book, TV show, and other non-film Star Wars material that was made over the years. This media will be published still, but it shows up as part of the “Legends” line. Lucasfilm is started from scratch and building up the Star Wars franchise with a fresh start. As of now, the new Star Wars canon includes a few comic books by Marvel and a line of books from Del Ray books. Two books have been published and half a dozen are still waiting to…

What Will Star Wars Be Like Without Jedi?
You’ve probably been reading a lot about The Force Awakens, but there’s another movie in the works that may have stayed off of your radar. It’s called Rogue One, and it’s the first of the standalone Star Wars movies promised by Disney, which are now going under the collective title of Star Wars Anthology. The movie focuses on a Rebel team who sets out to steal the Death Star plans. We know that Gareth Edwards (Godzilla) is attached to direct, and that Felicity Jones (Theory of Everything) will play a main character. Both Riz Ahmed (who played in Nightcrawler opposite Jake Gyllenhall) and Sam Claflin (Finnick from the Hunger Games movies) are rumored to be under consideration for male leads. That’s really all we know so far. At the end of Star Wars Celebration 2015, where we saw the debut of the second trailer for The Force Awakens, we also got to…
Star Wars Battlefront Devs “Feels Nothing Like Battlefield”; Space Battles Still Under Discussion
Star Wars: Battlefront is still the main topic for Star Wars fans and producer Jesper Nielsen is continuing to speak with the Reddit community about the upcoming game. The first comment is about why the prequel trilogy and the Clone wars were left out of this game. “Sometimes you have to make choices, and those choices may be hard. We are the ones making the game and have to make hard choices sometimes. One of them was to focus solely on the Original Trilogy. The reasoning I’d rather have someone like Figge comment on.” He continued saying that Battlefront does not compare to Battlefield in any way. “I can absolutely guarantee you that it feels nothing like Battlefield. That would be like saying Halo or COD feels like Battlefield. Or the original Battlefront games.” He also mentioned that the Battle of Jakku DLC will not have any solo player missions….

SWTOR Details on Grand Nightlife Pack
As some of you guys might already know, the newest cartel pack is quite pricey. Eric Musco went on the forums to explain why this is: Details of the Grand Nightlife Pack | 04.30.2015, 10:34 AM Hey folks! We have seen some confusion around the Grand Nightlife Pack, what it is, and why it costs a bit more than you normally see on a Cartel Pack. Admittedly, we could have been a little bit more clear in the store tooltips and we will make sure that is better in the future. So, what is in the Grand Nightlife Pack? This pack is basically all of the best items from The Star Cluster and Club Vertica Nightlife Packs all in one place. Here is a basic idea of the items you will find in the pack: Complete armor sets (ex: Tulak Hord Disciple’s Armor) Note: All armor sets pieces are contained…

It is no secret that players on the official forums, have been furies about the upcoming healing changes, that was supposed to come with game update 3.2.1. Therefor BioWare be removing these changes, to revise them and maybe add in a later patch: 3.2.1 PTS Healing Changes Removal | 04.30.2015, 08:28 AM Hey all, We want to thank everyone who offered constructive feedback and contributed to discussions regarding improvements to the proposed changes. Your feedback is much appreciated as we move forward with future PTS updates. Following internal review, we’ve decided to remove all of the proposed healing changes from 3.2.1. The goal of this update was to increase the burst healing of healers while simultaneously balancing healing per second (HPS) values, and resource management for healers. We are not completely satisfied with the present state of the healing changes, and want to give the community more time to play…

BioWare is taken action against players exploiting Ziost Bug
SWTOR Game update 3.2 came with an unfortunate bug yesterday, letting players have access to the Ziost operation boss via what apparently is an exploit. I must admid that this surprised me, as I have been using the “exploit” my self. I personally thought it was just another new secret area. The whole point of hunting for datacrons, especially Makeb, is to train us to be good at accessing areas that are not genearally easily accessed – but apparently I was wrong. Here is the news from Eric: So Bioware, about people bypassing the locked part on Ziost to fight the OP Boss etc. | 04.29.2015, 03:15 PM One of the things we tried to be clear about with the Ravagers is that we are serious about handling exploits. With that exploit, the Ravagers we were open about our process and the action we were taking. For this issue with Ziost, we are going to…
Could the Planets in Star Wars Actually Support Life?
We know the Star Wars franchise is big on imagination. This wonder and mystery is one thing that made it so appealing to fans. Amazing creatures, large vast planets and creative characters are some of the key elements that made Star Wars so great. That said, there have always been those who would question the logic behind the Star Wars story. One thing that makes the planets of Star Wars stand out is the unique environment that each one had. Whether it was vast barren stretches of sand or a planet covered in ice, there was always some unique feature that stood out in each planet. This begs the question: Could any living thing actually survive there? Wired.com has a very interesting piece where they cover some of the popular planets of Star Wars and consider whether or not they would actually be able to support life. Here is an…

The rest of the Ziost story line, in Star Wars: The Old Republic, will be live from may 4th, and does apparently not require a new patch update. Perhaps it opens up as a new daily area with world bosses? What do you guys think? Here is the update from Eric Musco: Planetary Status Monitor | Still no progression in Ziost story available ? | 04.28.2015, 06:30 PM Hey folks, Without spoiling anything, there have been some questions about the end of Ziost currently and whether this is intended or not. It is 100% intended, it is not a bug, and there is definitely more coming… And it is coming soon. The finale event for this story will happen Monday, May 4th and it will not require a patch. Evacuate Ziost while you have the chance!

Star Wars: The Holiday Special Review
The Star Wars Holiday Special is a 1978 American television film set in the Star Wars galaxy. If you have never heard of it, don’t worry. You are not alone. This “holiday special” was (probably deliberately) buried after it aired back in ’78 and finding a copy of it today is no easy task. While some may call it a “Christmas special”, it was actually about the Wookiee holiday of Life Day. The premise was good but the actual execution… well, we will leave you to form your own opinions on it but since it’s not so easy to just see the film, I want to share with you a great review done by the Nostalgia Critic. If you’re not familiar with NC, well… that’s just an additional treat for you. Check out the video to see all you need to know about this holiday special and find some movie…
