Dark Empire Episode 1: The Destiny of a Jedi is a recently released short film from WilkinsAnimations. With a run-time of approximately 12 minutes, it’s definitely not the length that makes it stand out. Instead, it’s unique, 1970s-era animation style and great story line are what keep you interested. EA Hints at New Star Wars Game Coming After Fallen Order

The official launch of Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order is right around the corner, yet EA has already alluded to the fact that they’re planning to drop yet another Star Wars title in 2022. Senior Analyst Daniel Ahmad of Niko Partners, one of the largest players in the Asian gaming market, pulled the leak straight from a recent earnings call from EA itself. The project is currently unannounced and unnamed, but is tentatively set to hit the market sometime in late 2022. Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order is an upcoming, single-player, active-adventure title due to release on Xbox One, PS4, and PC on November 15th, 2019. A few days ago, Electronic Arts and Respawn Entertainment shared a new trailer for Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order comming this fall. The new trailer shows off our hero Cal Kestis and his mission: searching the galaxy for why the Empire will stop at nothing to eliminate him and all remnants of the Jedi Order. The new trailer also shows off a few clips of gameplay, including Cal facing off in a proper lightsaber battle against one of the Emperor’s Inquisitors (the dark Force users who were used to hunt down Jedi who survived the initial purge). Pretty awesome right ? For actual gameplay, check out this 12-minute clip revealed earlier this year. It had a lot of potential, but unfortunately was trashed before it would get to see the light of day. Electronic Arts recently announced their intention to cancel the as yet unnamed Star Wars open world game project initially started by Visceral Games in 2013 prior to the studio’s final closure, the project also received a major overhaul during 2017. When contacted for a commentary the EA spokesperson failed to provide an outright confirmation of the cancellation of the project, which was under development in EA’s Vancouver studio. Instead, the spokesperson issued a noncommittal statement regarding the game’s current and future development. The spokesperson went on to praise the work done by their Vancouver team further stating the team’s work continues and would evolve into possible future Star Wars games and content. Happy new year!Now that that’s out of the way, it’s finally time for me to turn my attention to going over as much of what came with 5.10 as possible. Since this was a fairly major story patch, the most significant we’ve had since 5.0’s nine Eternal Throne chapters, I decided to enact my “one-month spoiler-free” safety window, hence why it’s taken me so long to get around to posting this. Of course, as is the way of things, this ‘safety protocol’ was rendered somewhat nullified as BioWare promptly began churning out full spoilers for the appearance of a certain character on their website and social media channels. The guys over at Bioware Austine, will be  deploying a patch next Tuesday december 18. to fix the numerous bugs with Patch 5.10. Check out the news: Hey folks, Quick update on the status of our next patch. There are some key issues that were introduced in 5.10 that we want to address next week. The current plan is to have a patch no earlier than next Tuesday, Dec 18th. Look for a post on Monday with a status update on timing.
