A few days ago, Electronic Arts and Respawn Entertainment shared a new trailer for Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order comming this fall. The new trailer shows off our hero Cal Kestis and his mission: searching the galaxy for why the Empire will stop at nothing to eliminate him and all remnants of the Jedi Order. The new trailer also shows off a few clips of gameplay, including Cal facing off in a proper lightsaber battle against one of the Emperor’s Inquisitors (the dark Force users who were used to hunt down Jedi who survived the initial purge). It had a lot of potential, but unfortunately was trashed before it would get to see the light of day. Electronic Arts recently announced their intention to cancel the as yet unnamed Star Wars open world game project initially started by Visceral Games in 2013 prior to the studio’s final closure, the project also received a major overhaul during 2017. When contacted for a commentary the EA spokesperson failed to provide an outright confirmation of the cancellation of the project, which was under development in EA’s Vancouver studio. Instead, the spokesperson issued a noncommittal statement regarding the game’s current and future development. The spokesperson went on to praise the work done by their Vancouver team further stating the team’s work continues and would evolve into possible future Star Wars games and content. Happy new year!Now that that’s out of the way, it’s finally time for me to turn my attention to going over as much of what came with 5.10 as possible. Since this was a fairly major story patch, the most significant we’ve had since 5.0’s nine Eternal Throne chapters, I decided to enact my “one-month spoiler-free” safety window, hence why it’s taken me so long to get around to posting this. The guys over at Bioware Austine, will be  deploying a patch next Tuesday december 18. to fix the numerous bugs with Patch 5.10.
