SWTOR: First look at Izax the Destroyer
BioWare is teasing the next raid boos in SWTOR! Both there offical Facebook page and on twitter they have boon posting these two images of the new Operation Boss – Izax – who is the final addition to Gods from the Machine! This new encounter should be available from March 2018 ( if they don’t push it any further ) Here is what we know: Little is known about the six titan droids that lie in hibernation on Iokath. These superweapons were created millennia ago by the planet’s architects, likely designed to pacify, subjugate, and destroy entire civilizations. Salvaged records indicate these machines operate as a sentient family unit of “god kin.” They are: TYTH, God of Rage. AIVELA, Goddess of Passion. ESNE, Goddess of Envy. NAHUT, God of Apathy. SCYVA, Goddess of Sorrow. IZAX, God of Death. During early weapon testing, Iokath unleashed the Six Gods on various unsuspecting…

The new targeted release date for 5.8 is now a week later on Tuesday, March 20, 2018. This additional time will help ensure we deliver a quality experience with Izax, the final Boss encounter for Gods from the Machine. Also, while I have your attention, this means we will also move the release of Game Update 5.9 one additional week, too. We…

SWTOR: Winter/Spring 2018 Roadmap Update
Keith Kanneg just updated the SWTOR comunnity on BioWares SWTOR plans for the rest of this winter and the start of spring. Check it out: Winter/Spring 2018 Roadmap Update | 02.15.2018, 05:35 PM Hey everyone, I think for all of us, this Roadmap process we started last year could stand a bit of improvement. Instead of providing information every 90 days or so, it’s taking a lot longer to get you any information about what we’re planning, and honestly, that needs to change. I’m still reticent about communicating details beyond 90 days, but I do want you to be comfortable with our direction and where we are headed. With this in-mind, we’ve decided to use the Forums as the means to get you the information about the next couple months versus waiting for a Roadmap. This will allow us to be more responsive to your questions, address your concerns, and maintain a…

BioWares own SWTOR Producer Keith Kanneg took on the forums to provide a brief update on the upcoming roadmap for SWTOR: Roadmap Update – Spring 2018 | 01.26.2018, 06:55 PM Hey all, As Musco mentioned in the Live Stream yesterday, we’re busy working on an update to the Roadmap which should be available in mid-February. Keep in mind, we’ve just released Game Update 5.7, so expect the Roadmap to give you insight about the next 90 days or so. I’m not ready to discuss all of the summer events and beyond that we’re planning. And, I definitely will not provide any information on what’s included in 6.0 . So, as always, hang in there, and we’ll provide you with what’s going on with SWTOR! For the many of you who have asked privately, yes, I’m doing great, but December and January are typically very busy months for us with all the planning activities….

SWTOR: changes to Daily Missions in 5.6 and 5.6.1
Eric Musco just updated the community on some changes to daily missions in game update 5.6 and 5.6.1 Hey folks, Ok, let’s talk about what changed in 5.6 and what is changing in 5.6.1 since they are tied together. 5.6 – In this Game Update we removed the Galactic Command interface from the game along with changing Group Finder to Activity Finder. As a part of this change some Missions were removed from the game as they were explicitly tied into either Galactic Command or Group Finder respectively. This is why the Daily Mission to send you to the those areas is no longer there. The weekly is intended to be the “wrapper” Mission for all of the dailies in that area, which is a change we made coming off of the “bugged” CXP values previously. This was a part of the steps we were taking to re-balance CXP across…

More Info on Master’s Datacron (Instant 70 boost)
BioWare just posted a new blog updating the players on how the Master’s Datacron will work in Game Update 5.6. Starting with ’A Traitor Among the Chiss’ (Game Update 5.6) on November 28th, there will be a new item introduced to the Cartel Market called the Master’s Datacron. This item will allow you to take any non-maximum level (70) character on your account and immediately move them up to maximum level. One unique thing about this boost is that it doesn’t progress your character’s story at all, meaning this is a great way to play through the classic Star Wars™: The Old Republic™ storylines without worrying about your character level! The Master’s Datacron also comes with the Eternal Commander Equipment bundle. Once you have boosted to max level and chosen your character’s Discipline (more on this below), you can use the equipment bundle to have a full set of level 70 gear…

SWTOR Server Merges Information
Yesterday the SWTOR servers was merged into 5 new servers. Below information is from reddit: Why are the servers being merged? There are not as many players actively playing as there were years ago. Players have requested server merges for years to help boost queue times for group activities and to make it easier for players to more easily find others to play with. The population of the servers had also become extremely unbalanced – some servers like the Harbinger and the Red Eclipse had extremely high populations, many others had “ok” populations, but there were a few servers including Jung Ma and Prophecy of the Five that had very few players logging in to play on them. Server merges will ensure that new and returning players won’t accidentally wind up on “dead” servers, and should help queue times for those who enjoy group content including flashpoints, operations, PvP and GSF….
