The Star Wars: Uprising community are getting an update on Sector Battle mechanics which we think look very promising. Check it out: The New Generation of Sector Battles & New Imperial Battles Next Sector Battle: Hey Everyone, Big stuff coming this next week. First: New Sector Battle Prizing and Freedom Ratings. All prizes for normal Sector Battles have been squashed together. This means all Victory levels will reward the same prizes and those prizes will be somewhere between the old Strong Victory and Overwhelming Victory prizes or, in some cases, better. So don’t sweat the Victory Points for prizing, sweat it for upping the prize brackets for next time (see below). All planets with Freedom Rating above 10 will have an even higher bracket of prizes including SILVER FACTION CURRENCY. This sector battle started yesterday Wednesday the 16th at 9 am PST like usual. Level 95 assaults are out, not many people are up at that level so I do not expect it to make a huge difference but we will see. There are no changes this week, here are the: Milestone rewards. This is a huge sign that Western content is popular in China and that the love for Star Wars is truly universal. The Chinese love Star Wars as much as we do. Venture Beat goes on to explain a little more about this: Licensed from Disney, CMGE (China Mobile Games and Entertainment Group) tailored this Clash of Clans-like strategy game for the Chinese market and promoted on the many app stores in that country. Well, now they’ve done it! We knew it was coming and the newest film, Star Wars: The Force Awakens has now officially made $2 billion in the box office worldwide. This makes it only the third film in history to ever hit that number. The other two movies to make more than $2 billion in the box office were Titanic at $2.19 billion and Avatar at $2.79 billion. This is a huge milestone for the film, but not really a surprising one. On Friday, Disney announced The Force Awakens had made $900 million domestically, becoming the only film in history to hit that number. Star Wars Video Games are Rocking the Charts

Star Wars: Battlefront has sold over 12 million units and with the hit movie, The Force Awakens still killing it in the box office, it’s probably going to make the sales of Star Wars video games only go up even more. While Star Wars: Battlefront has gotten some less-than-stellar reviews, that hasn’t stopped tons of people from buying it and wanting to try it for themselves. Since its release in November, it’s sold around 12-13 million units, and with its price tag of $55 on average, that means around $660 million in revenue. According to Wedbush Securities analyst Michael Pachter, Electronic Arts EA -0.64% sold approximately 6 million Star Wars Battlefront games in November and an additional 6 million in December. With Star Wars: Battlefront‘s November 17 release date drawing near fast, the beta wrapped up the other day, bringing an end to the most successful beta-testing period in the history of EA. Indeed, to call Star Wars: Battlefront successful at this point in time would probably be a major understatement. To celebrate the record-breaking beta accomplishment, EA have decided to publish some statistics regarding the time players spent in the game world and their various accomplishments. After watching the reveal trailer we found out that it will offer customizable loadouts to give you a specific playing style and it will also offer emotes for your use.
