BioWare will be celebrating the second anniversary of Star Wars: The old republic on Tuesday December 17th. With this they will be rewarding all players with players with exclusive Scout Starfighter Paint Jobs and 25 stacks of faction-based fireworks. Pretty boring rewards if you ask me. I still have last years fireworks sitting in a cargo hold on 95%(+-5%) of my toons. I’m guessing that I’m not the only one here that still hve it.

The paint job is kinda cool but it only applies to my least used ship. Am I mad about it? No. Disappointed? Sure. It’s hard to get mad about a freebie. Not so hard to be disappointed about feeling slightly under-appreciated as a customer. Below is the announcement:

We are excited to celebrate two years of Star Wars™: The Old Republic™! As our thanks to you, we’ll be rewarding all players with exclusive Scout Starfighter Paint Jobs and 25 stacks of faction-based fireworks on December 17, 2013.

With the YR-02 Imperial and Republic Scout Paint Jobs, you can take your battle to space with style and fight intense space PvP battles in the new Digital Expansion Galactic Starfighter. Plus, gather with friends and show off your factional pride as you set off Republic and Imperial fireworks!

Here’s how to get your Second Anniversary rewards:

Be sure to have a Star Wars: The Old Republic account by December 16, 2013 @ 11:59PM PST/ December 17, 2013 @ 7:59AM GMT. Beginning December 17th, visit your in-game mailbox and click on the reward items to add them to your inventory. To access your reward items, right click on them in your inventory to unlock them. Once unlocked, you can find the paint jobs in the Galactic Starfighter Hangar by pressing “H.” Then get ready to take your battle to space in Galactic Starfighter or celebrate in the fleet! NOTE: Galactic Starfighter’s Early Access is open to Subscribers beginning December 3, 2013 and to Preferred Status Players beginning January 14, 2014. Free-to-Play access begins February 4, 2014. If you are not a Subscriber, no need to worry. Your paint jobs will be waiting for you when you have access to play Galactic Starfighter! Thank you for a great two years!
