If Star Wars Had Live Roulette

We’ve talked about gambling in Star Wars before. Honestly, it was not an unheard of affair. In fact, in much of the Star Wars canon, it was quite common. Gambling was the betting of credits, or other possessions, in wagers or games. There were a variety of ways in which one could gamble. We saw gambling quite common on Tatooine. We saw Lando Calrissian lose the Millennium Falcon in a game of sabacc with Han Solo. There are many other parts of Star Wars canon and lore that reference betting and gambling.

But what if Star Wars had live roulette? I can definitely see some of our favorite characters playing. I can also see some of the famous characters of Star Wars possibly losing. It’s fun to think about how a game like that could be incorporated into the Star Wars universe. One might even speculate that wars could have been started over games of roulette, or at least some intergalactic space battles, right?

What if our favorite Star Wars games, like SWTOR, had live roulette? We already have online live roulette like from LEO Vegas so how hard would it be to incorporate it into a game? Actually, it probably wouldn’t be all that hard. Roulette is a great game for live play because a single table and croupier can cater to many players. There are also some advantages to playing live roulette versus the “old fashioned” way at a live casino. Aside from the fact that many people don’t have a legal, live casino they can attend, online roulette can also have certain advantages in the game play. It’s lets you easily place your bets with just the click of a mouse, you can play multiple tables simultaneously and much more. In short, it’s pretty cool.

Can you imagine living in the Star Wars universe and playing roulette from your ship, for example?

Whenever you gamble my friend, eventually you’ll lose.
