You will need to have finished Knights of the Eternal Throne before the new mission will appear in your Companions & Contacts.  To get Andronikos you need to be  Inquisitor, and to get Risha/Corso you need to play Smuggler, or the missions won’t appear. Below is the official statement on this: My reunion with Andronikos was | 01.23.2018, 05:50 PM Hey folks, There is a known issue with the Andronikos, Risha, and Corso return missions released in 5.7. ObiRadd ventures down to Austin to question Charles Boyd about 5.6 and beyond in this video from Imperial Army. The video is about an hour long, so make sure you have time to watch it in full before you get started. It’s definitely work taking the time out of your day to listen. You can play it in the background while you’re doing something else if you want, but it’s an interesting interview with Bioware staff from the studio in Austin. If you’re wondering what’s going to happen in 5.6 and beyond, this is going to help you out. So, what did you think?

SWTOR Ranked Mission Rewards, 5.6.1, and beyond!

Eric Musco just informed the SWTOR community that BioWare will be making changes to Ranked PvP Mission Rewards in 5.6.1. If you didn’t catch the patch notes for today’s game update, you can see them here. Hey folks, There have been some questions about the bug related to Solo Ranked Missions in that they are not giving anything beyond CXP and Credits. There was actually two bugs related to PvP Missions, but more on that in a second. As of 5.6.1 (coming live soon) Solo Ranked Missions will be rewarding Unassembled Components and crafting materials as intended. This was missed in the patch notes but I did verify that it is fixed in the patch. They still aren’t giving out Season 9 tokens, but that will be addressed in the future. The other bug present in the PvP Mission rewards is that instead of giving players one crafting lockbox which coincides…

SWTOR: changes to Daily Missions in 5.6 and 5.6.1

Eric Musco just updated the community on some changes to daily missions in game update 5.6 and 5.6.1 Hey folks, Ok, let’s talk about what changed in 5.6 and what is changing in 5.6.1 since they are tied together. 5.6 – In this Game Update we removed the Galactic Command interface from the game along with changing Group Finder to Activity Finder. As a part of this change some Missions were removed from the game as they were explicitly tied into either Galactic Command or Group Finder respectively. This is why the Daily Mission to send you to the those areas is no longer there. The weekly is intended to be the “wrapper” Mission for all of the dailies in that area, which is a change we made coming off of the “bugged” CXP values previously. This was a part of the steps we were taking to re-balance CXP across…

More Info on Master’s Datacron (Instant 70 boost)

BioWare just posted a new blog updating the players on  how the Master’s Datacron will work in Game Update 5.6. Starting with ’A Traitor Among the Chiss’ (Game Update 5.6) on November 28th, there will be a new item introduced to the Cartel Market called the Master’s Datacron. This item will allow you to take any non-maximum level (70) character on your account and immediately move them up to maximum level. One unique thing about this boost is that it doesn’t progress your character’s story at all, meaning this is a great way to play through the classic Star Wars™: The Old Republic™ storylines without worrying about your character level! The Master’s Datacron also comes with the Eternal Commander Equipment bundle. Once you have boosted to max level and chosen your character’s Discipline (more on this below), you can use the equipment bundle to have a full set of level 70 gear…

SWTOR Server Merges Information

Yesterday the SWTOR servers was merged into 5 new servers. Below information is from reddit: Why are the servers being merged? There are not as many players actively playing as there were years ago. Players have requested server merges for years to help boost queue times for group activities and to make it easier for players to more easily find others to play with. The population of the servers had also become extremely unbalanced – some servers like the Harbinger and the Red Eclipse had extremely high populations, many others had “ok” populations, but there were a few servers including Jung Ma and Prophecy of the Five that had very few players logging in to play on them. Server merges will ensure that new and returning players won’t accidentally wind up on “dead” servers, and should help queue times for those who enjoy group content including flashpoints, operations, PvP and GSF….

Below you will find every utility change that is currently planned: Imperial ———————————————————————————————————————— Sniper The heal given to Ballistic Shield by Defensive Safeguards has been reduced from 3% to 1% of maximum health per second while under Ballistic Shield DevNotes: The Sniper’s defensive cooldowns were too strong, so we reduced the effectiveness of Defensive Safeguards. — Virulence Lethal Purpose now restores 1 energy each time a poison effect deals damage, instead of 2 energy each time a poison effect deals critical damage DevNotes: We changed Lethal Purpose to smooth out…

SWTOR news on Character Slot Post Merge

Eric Musco took on the forums to update the community on the  character slots increases post server merge. One of the questions that has come up regarding United Forces is character slots and what will be happening for everyone. After the update, it is possible that a player could have more characters than they have slots currently. For subscribers they will still be able to play all of their characters (even if they go over their slots) but they can’t make any new characters. We wanted to do our best to alleviate some of the issues for not only subscribers, but F2P and preferred status players as well. Here is what you can expect to see changed on November 8 alongside United Forces: F2P players will have a default of 4 characters per server (up from 2) Preferred players will have a default of 12 characters per server(up from 6)…

SWTOR: “The Hot Prospect” is no longer a Hot Prospect…

Due to an Outrage through the SWTOR community, BioWare is renaming “The Hot Prospect” server to “Satele Shan”. So I guess we can start calling her the “Hot Prospect” Hey folks, We have made the decision to rename The Hot Prospect server to Satele Shan. Since we announced the new server names, we have received some concerns from people regarding the name The Hot Prospect. Specifically, that phrase could be taken in slang terms to be derogatory towards certain individuals. We take this very seriously as we would never want to create a situation where someone is made uncomfortable by something such as a server name. We will be updating all of our communications (such as the FAQ and blog) to reflect the new name in the coming days. Thank you for your understanding. -eric

SWTOR Roadmap – The Autumn Update!

SWTOR Game producer Keith Kanneg, just inform the community, that BioWare will be releasing the Autumn update of the roadmap before the NYC Cantina in next month: Hey everyone, I have seen quite a few questions about the status of the Roadmap, both in timing and in content. I know this is more of an announcement of an announcement, but the plan is to deliver the updated version before our October 6th SWTOR Cantina in New York. I also realize I’ve been more quiet this past month, but we’ve been hard at work making sure we avoid the issues we had last month with Game Update 5.4. As a result, we pushed back the release date of Game Update 5.5 to October 10, 2017, and as you’ll find out, we have lots of activity happening every couple weeks. In the Roadmap, I will provide you with exactly what we’re doing through…

SWTOR Game Update 5.5 planned for October 10

Eric Musco just informed the official Star Wars: The old Republic Community that SWTOR Game Update 5.5 will go live  on October 10 with some content shuffled into Game Update 5.6. Any update in the Roadmap? What about 5.5? | 09.13.2017, 05:07 PM Provide you with updates, I can! The roadmap is still in progress. We have been shuffling some things around with respect to 5.5 and 5.6 and we need that to settle before we can let you know exactly what is coming and when. It was our plan to put out Game Update 5.5 in late September but we have made the decision to move it into early October (currently 10/10). We did this to allow us more time to focus in on quality for our Game Updates to avoid some of the issues we had with 5.4. Class balance is still planned for 5.5. I expect I will start putting…

CXP and Daily Areas in SWTOR throughout September

Double CXP  will return to SWTOR with patch 5.5 and allowing the daily area CXP to stay until 5.5 as well. Check it out: CXP and Daily Areas throughout September | 09.07.2017, 10:22 PM Hey all, Recently, we have had more maintenances than normal. This was compounded by our update issues last Thursday which led to over 10 hours of maintenance. Thursday’s issue along with the extra downtime have impacted all of our playtime, and they especially are bothersome when you consider how much XP and CXP you lost from the Double XP/CXP event was running along with the over the top CXP for Daily Areas. So, to make sure your characters can take advantage from both, here’s what we going to do:  Since the Double XP/CXP event ended on Tuesday, we’ve decided to bring it back earlier than planned. That is, we had scheduled to make it available in December around…
