SWTOR Vancouver Community Cantina Recap

We love to share info with you about Community Cantinas. First, they are fun and secondly, they are informative McSluethGaming.com has a great of info (with pictures) about the Vancouver Community Cantina. Let’s take a look at some of it now: I arrived about 45 minutes before the event and was the first one there, I was then greeted by Eric Musco who was setting up the front booth, from my limited knowledge of other cantina events I was shocked to find nobody else there, as was Eric who said this was the first time ever that this had happened. Normally there is a crowd almost 2 hours before! At that point I was honestly rather worried that not many people would show up at all… It did however give me a great chance to just chat with Eric for almost a solid hour which was nice. Around 20 mins to 8 a…

SWTOR: XS Freighter LDD (with detailed Interior)

As part of the LEGO MOC Showcase at fbtb.net, a user shared some great images of their build of a Star Wars: The Old Republic – XS Freighter: “Hello! I recently finished my SWTOR XS Freighter in LDD and wanted to share it. While I’ve seen cleaner builds (exterior-wise) I feel a sense of accomplishment with this for including a pretty accurate, detailed interior to the ship.” See the full post and images here. There is a lot of great detail, no small parts gone unnoticed and there are even size/scale comparisons. The creator, November2019, says they have been working on the project off and on for a few months. “There were some frustrating hurdles. It was my first time doing something of this complexity in LDD. Figuring out ‘non-standard’, oblique-angle building techniques was really a mind-bender for me. Very fun though.” We think it looks pretty awesome. I can see…

‘Star Wars: Legends’ Gets a Trailer

““Star Wars: Episode VII” comes out December 18, 2015 and the Star Wars Expanded Universe is shifting into the “Legends” timeline. This means many of the stories we have all known and treasured about Star Wars are not likely to make it into the newest films. This is a new era of Star Wars and some are happier about it than others. However, Big Shiny Robot has something pretty cool for us. It’s the Star Wars Legends trailer from Marc Rienzo. Big Shiny Robot says: And to be honest, this is probably one of the coolest fan cut trailers of EU material I’ve ever seen. It was cobbled together over the last couple of years from many, many different sources. I loved seeing bits of “Wing Commander” and other movies like that in here. Basically, this trailer is what this universe might have looked like on the big screen. It’s…
