SWTOR Personal Armies

We’re noticing a trend in many SWTOR players these days – building “armies” in their strongholds. While it might seem a little bit like an epeen contest, if you have actually seen some of the things that are being created, you will likely be a bit impressed, too. Reddit user Baianai, for example, created an awesome 7th Assault Armor Battalion of the Imperial Army. In short, it’s pretty freaking awesome. There are a variety of ways that players are getting these armies. In the one pictured below, the player made use of the GTN and clever skills at playing the market to build up their battalion. However, this is not absolutely required to make your own personal army since there are many ways to do it and part of the fun is seeing all the ways players are finding to get creative with it. Here’s another personal army by Reddit user, Derzelaz….

BioWare goes back to its roots for: Knights of the Fallen Empire What goes into crafting the new expansion for Star Wars: The Old Republic – Knights of the Fallen Empire? Creative director Jesse Sky takes things back to the beginning. Back to basics Last year, I decided to re-watch The Empire Strikes Back® and write down everything that shocked the audience back in its original theatrical run. It’s a very long list. That film packs a real emotional punch—it’s full of twists, betrayals and revelations the entire way through. I’ve wanted to tell a Star Wars™ story like that ever since the first time I saw it. When we began conceptualizing Knights of the Fallen Empire, the story…

Star Wars the Old Republic: Knights of the Fallen Empire Reactions

As you know, fans of SWTOR are excited for Knights of the Fallen Empire, present company included. It’s definitely time for something new and exciting to the game and we think this expansion is going to bring a lot of that. In fact, we expect it to also bring in new players as well as old players who have quit and decide to return. Of course, that is one of the purposes of a video game expansion and it’s an important part of a good game marketing strategy but that doesn’t mean it’s always effective or executed correctly. Bioware need your feedback on Strike Fighters

Alex Modny took on the official forums, asking for feedback on Galactic Strikefighter expansion, beginning with the Strike Fighter class: Let’s talk about Strike Fighters | 05.28.2015, 08:36 PM Howdy Flygirls and Flyboys! I’ll be blunt. Strike Fighters need lots of love. The original design is that they are the Jack-of-All and Master-of-None but they have filled out this role too well and because of it are rarely a compelling option. We want to talk about how Strike Fighters can be made into a good option to bring in any match, by any skill level. We have some ideas of what we want to do with them but because this community is always very impressive with communication and feedback we want to get your thoughts on what you think is the best course of action. Grouped players attempting to start Shadow of Revan from another player’s ship will encounter a number of issues associated with the cinematics. Workaround: Until we resolve these issues, please start Shadow of Revan from your own player ship Mission Console and then group with other players upon reaching the planet surface. The final boss of The Ravagers does not provide any loot. When grouped, players who interact with the Mission Console of the group leader’s ship will receive an error message or not see the Mission “Chapter 5: Shadow of Revan” as available.
