Eric Musco took on the official forums to clarify the intentions regarding the bolster changes that came with patch 5.1 Bolster Changes in Game Update 5.1 | 01.25.2017, 11:30 PM Hey folks, For those unaware, in Game Update 5.1 we made the following change: Bolster now improves players up to 232 Item Rating (down from 250). This change raised quite a few questions from the PvP community as to why we made the change. I spoke with the team about it and I want to start by confirming that this change is intended, let’s talk about why! When we released Game Update 5.0, Bolster was incorrectly set to Item Rating 250. The goal of Bolster is that it gives a player a minimum bar of power. That is so that they can enter PvP and not be too far behind someone who is at maximum gear, but it allows them…

These 4 threads all ask the same questions, can we get answers? | 11.11.2015, 09:53 PM I talked to Matt about Alliance, Companions, and your questions specifically related to accessing future Companions. Between this thread and the ones linked in the OP, I think there are two main questions you are looking to have addressed. Will I need to complete currently available alert Missions to unlock future alert Missions? As of right now, the answer to this is yes. Inside of each Alliance Companion type (Military, Underworld, etc), the Companion recruitment alerts are very much looked at like a Mission chain. Generally, you must complete one alert Mission before you will receive the next. Note that you only need to complete the Mission itself, not necessarily recruit any Companion associated with it. There may be exceptions to…

Game Update 4.0 New Feature: Keybinding Importing and Exporting

Star Wars: The old Republic – Knights of the fallen empire is coming with a cool new feature.  With the new game update, players will be able to import and export their keybings. How cool is that? Game Update 4.0 New Feature: Keybinding Importing and Exporting | 09.21.2015, 09:13 AM One feature I pretty consistently see requested is the ability to copy your keybindings from one character to another, so I’m happy to say with the release of 4.0 you’ll be able to do just that. When 4.0 launches you’ll notice a new tab in the preference window labeled “Keybinding Import/Export” from there you’ll be able to save out your current keybindings to a file which you can then load on another character. When you save the keybinding they’ll show up in a list which you can then select to preview and load those saved bindings. The list of keybindings…
